The first step to increase traffic to your web site is make your web site search engine optimized. This will give you free traffic from search engines such as Google. You can also submit your site details to these search engines. If you submit your web site details precisely as asked by these search engines, you rest at an enhanced possibility of receiving a good listing on the initial page of search results.

Charpter 1 - How to Get Free Website Traffic (SEO)

If you have a website, you need to drive traffic to it. It is like a store but without physically customers - your store wonld not survive. Therefore, traffic is the blood line to your website.

Without traffic, you won't get visitors. And without visitors, you won't make money, sales, get subscribers, etc. What good is a website without any traffic? And if the site is getting traffic, what good is it if it's not targeted traffic?

There are many ways to drive traffic to your site, both free and paid.

But we are not going to talk about paid traffic right now. That is a totally different topic and could take hours to cover.

Search Engine Optimization in short is SEO which takes time and a lot of work. When you join sites that are surf for traffic sites, you have to look at other members' sites in order to earn advertising credits for your site to be displayed when another member is surfing. The con is that although the traffic is free, it is not targeted. Everyone who is a member only surfs for the credit and very rarely even looks at the site, they just minimize their window on their PC and multi-task. However, I wont rule out that those traffic is crap and worthless, it does work, but takes up many of your hours. For your information, I joined lots of safelist which took up lots of my times but worthwhile. ;-) If you are wondering does safelist work?
